Malaria Chloroquine Resistance
Roland Cooper is presenting “Evolution of chloroquine resistance in Plasmodium falciparum”. at 5:30PM in 55 Castetter Hall on monday October 25th. Dr. Cooper is an Associate Professor of Biological Sciences at Old Dominion University, in Norfolk VA. Dr. Cooper’s predominant research interest is the understanding of the action of drugs and drug resistance in Plasmodium falciparum, the lethal human malaria parasite.
Tuesday October 26th, we will have a quiz, followed by discussion (no lecture). This will be an opportunity to discuss the final project.
