David Haig visit

We are lucky to host Dr. David Haig next week. He will join our discussion on tuesday at 3:45pm

David Haig PhD of Harvard University is visiting UNM next week. Dr. Haig studies genomic imprinting and the effect of genetic conflict in diseases of pregnancy and development. His visit is sponsored by UNM Center for Evolutionary and Theoretical Immunology
He will be giving a Brown Bag noon lecture entitled: “Prader-Willi syndrome and the evolution of human childhood.”
April 28th, 2010. Biology Department, Room 100 Castetter Hall at UNM.

David Haig is also giving a talk in the Anthropology department for the Anthropology Colloquia series entitled:
“Genetic conflicts in Human Pregnancy”
